Gametize conducts regular cyber security assessments. The latest assessment was conducted between May 2019 by a CREST-certified cybersecurity firm, Horangi in the following 3 phases:

  1. Performed risk assessment to identify key assets
  2. Performed web application testing
  3. Validated vulnerability assessment to evaluate tactical security issues’s payment is powered by Stripe, a reputable online payment provider, trusted by many Internet businesses. 

Gametize is PDPC and GDPR compliant. 

Here are some other in-house developed and implemented security features:

  • 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Project Administrators on the platform (optional)
  • SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for all HTTP requests and sensitive information is stored using a salted hash
  • Sensitive information such as user’s password is hashed and salted using SHA512 before storage (this is a one-way conversion; nearly impossible to generate the original password) 
  • Public/private key access control to servers
  • Database is encrypted-at-rest – this prevents data visibility in the event of unauthorized access
  • Gametize cloud is using Amazon Web Services


The Gametize platform is Native Mobile (iOS and Android), Web Mobile, and Desktop Mobile enabled.

  • iOS – supported on iOS 9.0 or later; compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
  • Android – supported on version 5.0 or later (compatibility with non-Samsung Android-based devices is not tested, therefore Gametize is unable to guarantee full functionality on these devices)
  • Web – supported on with Chrome 49+, Internet Explorer 11, Safari 11+, Firefox 59+
