Gametize Year in Review: 2022

We are thrilled to share with you some of the highlights for Gametize in 2022, and what’s in store for 2023. Without further ado, let us look back at some of these moments.

1. Leveling up our security game

a. ISO 27001

Gametize is proud to announce that we are ISO 27001 certified as of 6th December 2022.

ISO 27001 is the most globally recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS), including data protection and cyber resilience. They help companies like ours to implement the best management practices in order to administer the security of vital assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee data, and important information entrusted by third parties.

This achievement reflects the strength of our ISMS, and demonstrates the importance we place on meeting the highest security standards that protect our systems and our clients with the utmost confidence and commitment.

b. CSA STAR 1

Founded in 2013 by the Cloud Security Alliance, the Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) registry encompasses key principles of transparency, rigorous auditing, cloud security and privacy best practices.

At level one, organizations submit one or both of the security and privacy self-assessments. These are based on the Cloud Controls Matrix and the CSA Code of Conduct for GDPR Compliance.

With this STAR certification in place, it ensures that we have identified security risks and put effective controls in place to protect our cloud-based digital assets. We take security very seriously.

Moving on to the next section, we will highlight some key updates on improving Gametize Platform’s ease of use.

2. More than pretty Reporting and Analytics

Starting with Report and Analytics, we have made some updates to include more data points in reports downloading, and included charts in the platform analytics to make it more visually intuitive. This makes it easier for administrators to compare and understand the challenge results breakdown and project completion status at one glance.

a. Quiz Result Breakdown Charts for Challenge Analytics

A pie chart showing the breakdown of correct/wrong answers for quiz/prediction challenges:

At one glance, Project Admins will be able to view the amount of correct and incorrect answers players have submitted, which also gives them a gauge on their challenge difficulty and how they can plan their future challenges to suit their players.

b. Added Project Completion Statistics to Project Analytics

Project Admins are now able to view the project completion status in the form of a pie chart:

This gives you a quick overview of the number of players who have completed, started and not started the project. Project Admins may download the project players report to find out which players belong to which category.

c. Added Green Tick for players who completed Project in player list for Project Analytic

A green tick is shown in the Project Player list at the start of the player’s name to indicate that they have completed the projects:

This makes it easier for Project Admins to tell which players have completed the project.

d. Introduced Engagement Rate in Project/Topic Analytics

The engagement rate is calculated by the percentage of players who have completed at least 1 challenge in the Project/Topic.

Project admins are now able to view the engagement rate for any project/ topic easily without having to do their own calculations.

e. Updates on Reports Download

We have added more data points for Project Admins to be able to easily calculate the redemption rate, view the completion progress of their players, as well as view the percentage of challenges completed. Project Admins can better gauge how close players are to completing the project with the added data points:

  1. Points Balance column are now excluded in reports when there are no Rewards in the Project
  2. Player count column has been added to Teams Report
  3. Added data points for Project Players Report:
    • Reward redemption count
    • Completion Progress
  4. Percentage of challenges completed in Project by Players
  5. Added data point for Topic Players Report:
    • Completion Progress
    • Percentage of challenges completed in Topic by Players

We have just covered the list of updates for the Project Admins; let’s move on to the updates for Super Admins. You may be wondering… what is the difference between Project Admins and Super Admins? Project Admins have full access to all features and functions on the Admin Dashboard and are allowed to perform all administrative tasks within the assigned Project, except for deleting project, resetting project content, and resetting project activity, as these are functions that are exclusive to a Project Owner.

Super Admins are only available on our enterprise platforms, they are able to control many aspects of the platform (such as the ability to manage content, users, and notifications), and have access to many powerful functions.

Now, for the Super Admins, we have updated the Platform analytics to make it easier for Super Admins to find and view the statistics of players on their platform:

a. Introduced Player Analytics for Platform

Super Admins are now able to view the player statistics (e.g. points/completions/votes/comments) across all Projects in Platform.

b. Sign-in Statistics

Super Admins are now able to filter the date and time to display the total number of successful sign-in attempts and total number of users who have signed in successfully.

3. Easier User Management and Content Repurposing

Moving on to the next section, we have some updates to the player manager and content duplication. Our idea was to to make the platform more user-friendly and open more opportunities for Project Admins to interact with their players. Hence, we introduced some updates to lessen the work and time needed for Project Admins to create content and reach out to players.

a. Project Admins are able to copy Topics to other Projects

Previously, duplicating of topics was limited to projects where the project owner is the same, or if the user is a Super Admin. The good news is that project admins are now allowed to copy a topic to another project which he/she has access to, saving lots of time and effort as you will not need to start over by creating the exact same content.

b. Resend project invitation emails to selected players

Project Admins/Moderators can now resend project invitation emails to selected players. Fret not if your players did not receive any project invitation email, as you can simply invite them again with just one click.

The above mentioned are updates for Project Admins, read on to find out the updates for Super Admins.

c. Project Search for Super Admins

Want to find projects that are owned by any user on the platform? Super Admins are now able to do that on the Enterprise platform. An added bonus – you may even download reports for that particular project.

d. Disallow deleting of user accounts if the user owns any Projects

Users are not allowed to delete their account if they own any projects; projects should be transferred to another administrator before deleting the account. This helps to prevent projects from being deleted accidentally. Rest assured the time and effort that you have put in will not be wasted.

We have come to the end for the updates implemented on our platform, read on as we have another exciting piece of news to share.
