PRESS RELEASE: Gametize and Universiti Putra Malaysia to Cooperate in Executive Education and Certification Program

Singapore/Malaysia – Gametize and School of Business and Economics (SPE), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to foster a strategic collaboration on matters relating to executive education and training programs that would contribute to the development and enhancement of relations between the two entities.
UPM is a renowned center of education and research in Malaysia. UPM’s SPE became the pioneer business institution in Malaysia to be awarded the AACSB accreditation in 2012. It is the first and only Malaysian university to be Equis-accredited, making it a part of an elite group of only 209 universities in the world to receive the Equis accreditation.
Under the LOI, Gametize and School of Business and Economics UPM will engage in a multifaceted partnership to deliver innovative Executive Education and training initiatives that align with the evolving demands of the industry revolution 4.0. The partnership will leverage the strengths and expertise of both institutions to provide cutting-edge programs that empower professionals to thrive in today’s dynamic business landscape.
The cooperation between GAMETIZE and UPM will encompass a wide range of activities aimed at enriching the learning experience for participants and staff alike. These activities will include certifications, marketing efforts to promote the programs, development of new training modules, joint training and projects, as well as workshops, seminars, and conferences. By combining their resources and knowledge, both parties seek to create a collaborative and vibrant ecosystem for continuous learning and professional development.
Prof Dr Bany Ariffin, the esteemed Dean of the School of Business and Economics UPM, expressed his enthusiasm and optimism about the partnership, highlighting its potential to significantly benefit students and professionals seeking to upskill and stay relevant in the rapidly changing business landscape. He believes that this collaboration will propel the training programmes offered by UPM to new heights, firmly rooted in the principles of industry revolution 4.0.
Tan Guan Heng, Academy Lead and Head of Training at Gametize attributes the partnership to the fact that “we have been actively engaging institutes of higher learning (IHLs) over the years, collaborating as an industry partner by providing mentoring programs, internships and co-organising special projects.
