Gametize powered Gnnovation – a mobile app to engage and connect participants of the JOS Innovation Awards 2019
Gametize is proud to be the gamification sponsor for the 2018-19 JOS Innovation Awards, providing the platform to power Gnnovation – a mobile app to engage and connect participants, JOS representatives, and customer representatives.
The JOS Innovation Awards is now in its fourth year and is an annual competition to showcase and nurture the creativity and innovation of Hong Kong’s students, inviting student teams to provide ideas on improving the customer experience in different sectors, including technology, insurance, food & beverage services and property.
Over the course of 5 months, student teams were invited to apply and were shortlisted to attend the exciting final contest on 12 April 2019 where four teams each won HK$30,000 and further mentorship sessions and internship opportunities.
The Solution: Gnnovation
Those shortlisted attended an interactive sharing session and received guidance from business leaders via the mobile app, Gnnovation, (short for Gamification x Innovation) and their level of participation was one of the judging points during the event.
On Gnnovation, participants would:
- Get updates, news, and tips and tricks from JOS Management & coaches
- Interact and discuss with other participants in an open chat room and forum
- Vote for other’s submissions – all earned points counting towards participants’ final scores
The numbers: 170 players made 5,747 challenge completions and casted 412 votes
