SMU-X Gametize Demo Day November 2024: Combating Drug Abuse with Gamification and Community Engagement Tools

We are excited to share that Gametize will be completing our 4th collaboration with Singapore Management University (SMUx Program) after a 12 weeks long “hackathon” to combat drug abuse using Gametize and gamification processes. The key focus will be on youths for prevention, and rehabilitating individuals. Previously, we have worked with more than 250 students to promote sustainability and tackled close-to-heart issues affecting aging population and their caregivers, such as dementia, social isolation, volunteerism.

Proposal: A Gamified Learning and Collaborative Platform for Early Childhood Educators

A Proposal for Institute for Adult Learning Inlab. In this Open Innovation Challenge 2024 run, The Challenge Owner’s through InLab requested a gamification solution that can help the them to look for a solution that provides an engaging learning platform for pre-school educators to encourage them to enhance their skills and competencies, facilitates collaboration between educators for knowledge sharing, and allows educators to update and engage with parents on a regular basis. If proven successful, the solution could potentially be scaled for deployment to other pre-schools in Singapore.

Proposal: Virtual Training Buddy for Service Skills Improvement in Retail and Food Service

The Challenge Owner is looking for a solution that can act like a virtual training buddy for service staff in the retail and F&B sectors, and that can also be customized to different companies’ specific brand philosophy, service principles, customers and service situations. The solution could become a useful tool for onboarding new staff and a self-help tool for staff to track their learning progress and improve their service delivery.
